I had purchased the Easy6 Ultrasonic System with the 40 kHz Cavitek Cleaner in early March of last year and had been interested in trying ultrasonic cleaning LP’s for some time. Everything I’d researched indicated that ultrasonic was the best method to clean LP’s. And now I count myself among the believers, Records are quieter, more detail overwhelmingly positive in record cleaning. I’ve been using the Nitty Gritty for over 10 years. It does a pretty good job and I use this method of cleaning first, then the Easy 6 Ultrasonic System using distilled water with 10 drops of Tergikleen (no isopropyl alcohol) wetting agent for five minutes on the high setting, then a distilled rinse and fan dry for about an hour and this method takes it to a newer higher level in listening for me. CleanerVinyl reps (especially Rudy) are so helpful and responsive to help you with purchasing appropriate ultrasonic, as well as assist with questions you may have. I've had the CleanerVinyl Pro for over 11 months now, and have cleaned well in excess of 500 records. My records are both quieter and have greater dynamic range than before cleaning. Highly recommended! I cannot recommend it highly enough to prospective buyers of CleanerVinyl. A great product made in America. Happy Listening.

Getting Clean with the CleanerVinyl ProXL System:
Vinyl Pursuit specializes in vintage vinyl which we ship around the world daily. Nearly all our vinyl is sourced from collectors and so, lightly used. To provide the very best experience we can, we provide ultrasonic restoration and our own flesh sleeves for every album... Because our customer deserve nothing less!
Historically, we’ve employed AudioDesk Pro Systeme by Glass for outstanding results, but as we’ve grown, those systems can no longer provide the volume of cleaning and restoration needed. Thus, we began the search for a system that could produce volume without compromising on quality or cleanliness. We found CleanerVinyl online and had the opportunity to speak directly with the system's developer. The decision to purchase was actually very easy. We opted for the full ProXL model with the 15L tank with 132 kHz frequency. Go Big or Go Home!
Set up was simple. The system is very easy and efficient to operate. And the output? The albums look beautiful. Customers are very happy and so are we. We would not hesitate to recommend this system to anyone.
Although we started with the ProXL system, there are different models and tanks to fit every cleaning need, from the audiophile to businesses such as ours. Cost of operation is also a major consideration and we find that the replaceable bits are minimal, micron filters and cleaning fluid and distiller water of course. is essentially it. And, it's comforting to know that questions are quickly addressed.
Another plus is that the CleanerVinyl system cleans both 45's and LPs ... Side by side.
We outfitted our CleanerVinyl with both the micron filter (to the left) and the fan unit for speedy drying. For its robust performance and excellent customer support, we give this system five solid stars!

Hello, We would like to share our purchasing and user experience with the CleanerVinyl ProXL set.
The transaction: Rudy is wonderful, very kind, and highly responsive to email replies. Despite the time zone difference (we are in France), we always received quick and comprehensive responses. We take this opportunity to congratulate him :)
The Kit Pro XL: Since the store's opening, we have chosen to clean records with ultrasonic machines, as we believe it's the best cleaning system available for records. Previously, we used a cheap kit with a capacity of 4 records, so you can imagine that we made the right choice with the Pro XL kit, now allowing us to clean 16 records simultaneously, resulting in a fourfold increase in efficiency within the same timeframe.
The Kit is of good quality, with perfect 3D printing, without burrs or residue. The system is simple, well-designed, and effective, and we could easily understand its operation without consulting the manual. The motor's variability is perfect and allows adjustments according to our needs. The kit fits perfectly on our UC-3360 tank.
The drying system is an additional time-saving feature during cleaning operations. We paired it with a remote-controlled power outlet, avoiding the hassle of manipulating the power cable.
Conclusion: Go for it! The set was carefully packaged, with a FedEx tracking number. Whether you want to enhance your collection, save time, or improve the quality of your records for sale in the store, the Pro Kit is the device you need!

ProXL with the 132 khz unit and planned (waiting for shipment) 40khz unit. Using the dual vat swap method. The ProXL is very easy to use and a solid build. Using 1 inch spacing x 8 records. First cleaned new pressings at 132 khz to zap anything from the pressing plant. Cleaning recipe H2O distilled water measured at 13 PPM TDS with added surfactant. British YouTuber recommended 10 gtts per liter, but that's 150 gtts for 15 liters. I used 50 gtts for 15 liters and it was more than enough, probably will use less next time, eyeballing the sheen of clinging water. Temp 29C room temp which jumped to 30 C after the 10 minute zap (heater not used). Drying is fantastic, easy to use. After 1st drying I noticed some scant visual residual, probably the surfactant. I drained the vat and added in 0.5 micron filtered water, measured at 31 PPM TDS (ran out of distilled water). Ran the records for 5 minutes treatment for a rinse @ 132 khz again. Second drying. Now the records are spotless with A NICE SHINE. Noticed black particulate matter in the beginning of the run, guessing fragments from the pressing pant. The micron filter soon cleared that out as I later saw the water had cleared up before the 10 minute run finished. The results: Norah Jones "...little hearts broken" Live, Blue Note Records. I heard this straight from the pressing plant and then again after the US treatment using ProXL. There is a huge noticeable improvement after the ProXL US treatment. All instruments became more well defined and warm, more visceral and present, better sound staging. Vocals more articulate and detailed. And this is a new record. I'll add in an evaluation of used record cleaning when the 40 khz arrives using the 2 step method (40 khz, 132 khz) and add to this post. So far I am impressed. This is a beautiful record cleaning system giving excellent results.

I’ve been on the hunt for a record cleaning system for some time. The commercial ultrasonic record cleaning systems I researched either seemed overpriced or poorly reviewed.
Enter the CleanerVinyl system. This 3D printed contraption sits on top of a number of ultrasonic cleaners, ranging from affordable 40hz units to feature rich multi frequency ones.
I picked up the Easy 6 with a 1 micron filter and the Elmasonic EP60H, which operates at 37hz and 80hz.
So far I’ve cleaned about 50 records and I must say I am impressed with the result! While it isn’t a one button experience, it is mostly hassle free and yields superbly cleaned records that sound dead silent.

I am very satisfied with the ultrasonic cleaning system that I recently purchased from CleanerVinyl. The Elma P60H and the CleanerVinyl components all seem very well constructed, and I am confident that everything in my cleaning system is designed to work together. I especially like the ability to utilize multiple cleaning frequencies and multiple cleaning modes during a cleaning operation. And the Pro system components are great for the positioning and the handling of the records. I highly recommend CleanerVinyl as a source for quality ultrasonic cleaning systems. Great customer service, also.

I have been a CleanerVinyl user since Rudy Schlaf first introduced his products to market.
I recently upgraded my system to the CleanerVinyl ProXL kit, in addition to a 3-speed (40/80/120kHz), user-programmable, 15L UC-3360 ultrasonic cleaning unit. Although still quite pleased with my single-speed (132kHz, 10L) ultrasonic cleaning unit, I was quite pleasantly surprised by the efficiency, efficacy, and capacity of the new, all-in-one offering.
Right out of the box, the build quality and durability of Rudy's latest product releases are noteworthy. Having grown accustomed to the ease and convenience of simultaneously cleaning up to 14 records at a time, I was immediately impressed by the significant upgrades from my older CleanerVinyl Pro and Max rigs. The new ProXL kit is (even more) substantially constructed, built for years of trouble-free use. Its straightforward, ergonomic features make vinyl record cleaning an outright pleasant pastime - no longer a begrudged chore - especially when compared to the fingernail scrubber-brush and snake oil days of yore.
My initial reaction to the purpose-built, drop-in simplicity of the Lift-ProXL (with integrated drying fans) and Micron 10L was a "why didn't I think of this?" blinding glimpse of the obvious: this product is an investment in life's most precious, irredeemable resource: free time. For audiophiles with a significant collection of vinyl on hand, the hours saved by using CleanerVinyl products will afford all the more precious (and higher fidelity) listening sessions.
While not for the undecided, faint of heart, less than fully committed consumer, and/or window-shopper, one would be hard-pressed to identify a more effective set of tools for cleaning shellac, 7", 10", and 12" singles & LPs than the current iteration of Beolover's (constantly evolving) brainchild.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to making CleanerVinyl products the best in the industry: very well done! I will be back for more.

Got the unit back in April and have cleaned over 200 records so far. This really is a great product and works very well. It's very easy and inexpensive to use. It is really a simple device made of sturdy plastic with a motor inside. I have a large collection of older vinyl largely from the 60s and 70s. Bought many of these records used.

Grew up when music was transitioning from vinyl/tape to CD. Missed the "experience" of playing an album and recently started to get back into it. It became painfully obvious that the used records I was picking up needed rejuvenation to maximize their playback. Found CleanerVinyl while doing a search and purchased the EasyOne Expert Kit. My collection is small and the need to clean high volume was not a necessity. Have cleaned over 50 albums and couldn't be more impressed. It is amazing how much dust and dirt is removed when I filter the ultrasonic fluid back into the one gallon container. Noticeable improvement in playback quality. Well designed, excellent quality, easy to use and effective.

This record cleaning attachment provides the most thorough and gentle clean available for your beloved vinyl collection. I have a private collection of over a thousand records and sell cd’s and records online. I’ve tried every cleaning method. For years I’ve been fighting a losing battle against static, dust and fingerprints. Using it with an ultrasonic cleaner, the playing surface touches nothing but your cleaning solution, which will clean out microscopic record grooves, more thoroughly than other methods, without abrasive scrubbing or wiping. No more scratchy, static causing brushes. No more tedious, messy chemicals and cloths. No more wasted days cleaning one record at a time. The CleanerVinyl Pro-XL is a complete game changer. It’s the only vinyl record cleaning method that I recommend.

Due to the cost and my concerns that the benefits of ultrasonic vinyl record cleaning might be something that was hyped and that only "golden ears" could hear, I was slow to actually take the plunge so to speak. Upon receipt of my federal income tax return, however, I invested in the Cleaner Vinyl Pro system with the Lift-Pro and the micron filtration system. At this point, I have probably cleaned about 100 records, and the results have been fantastic.
I have a vinyl collection of about 4000 items -- a fairly large number of which I've paid as little as 10 cents in my 55 years of collecting. I still occasionally buy 50 cent and $1.00 records at my local independent record dealer (although I am generally purchasing far fewer recordings, which includes CDs, due to storage limitation). Naturally, when you are paying so little per unit, you do not anticipate that it will come in pristine condition. While the system does not eliminate actual scratches, it definitely frees the vinyl of dust and grime that impacts the sound on playback. I started out doing before and after listenings just to ascertain if I really heard a significant difference on some of my more heavily used bargain records. The substantial improvement on playback was surprising to me. I then just started cleaning records randomly, and didn't bother with a before cleaning listen. In addition to markedly improving the sound quality of records, after the ultrasonic bath and drying the vinyl sparkles and the records cease being a magnet for dust.
At this point, I am cleaning six records at a time for about 17 minutes at a temperature of between 30 and 35 degrees celsius. I have experienced no problem with damage to the vinyl at these temperatures. I add to degassed distilled water a small amount of Kodak Photo-Flo as the cleaning solution. I had thought about using a few drops of a detergent, but the results without have been such that I decided not to risk contaminating the cleaning solution. With the drying, I finish a batch of records in about 40 to 45 minutes. I have had no problems with label damage. I do find that I need to top-off the distilled water with some frequency, which I assume is due to natural evaporation. [...]

I decided to buy the Micron 6L filtration pump for my newly acquired CleanerVinyl Easy3 ultrasonic record cleaner. After having run about 6 records through the system, I can attest to the fact that this pump does a very effective job of filtering out any grit that is released from the records. Before I got the pump, I would drain the tank and notice that after the residual moisture at the bottom had a chance to evaporate, there was grit left in the tank. Now, with the pump installed, no grit! Upon opening the pump to drain and dry it out, I could easily see the trapped dirt in the filter. This is another very cleverly designed product supplied with detailed instructions. I’ve ordered a bunch of archival record sleeves and when they arrive, I will start a major record restoration project.

As an avid audiophile record collector I own a VPI vacuum machine and two other ultrasonic machines. The CleanerVinyl ProXL with the multifrequency 40/80/120 kHz, machine is far superior to anything else I've tried. Multifrequency cleaning is incredible! The higher frequencies penetrate deeply into the grooves and reveals a very noticeable improvement in sound quality. The extra large capacity allows efficient cleaning of a large library (I use 1 inch spacing with 8 lps). The exceptional customer service and useful, objective information about cleaning protocols are also appreciated.

I have a collection of around 800 records, mostly classical and at least 350 were purchased used at a local record store, most for around $1 each. A few were in clean condition, some hardly played at all, but most needed cleaning, which I did with a conventional machine using a brush and vacuum system. That took care of some of the noise, but in many instances, there were pops and ticks that I just couldn’t get rid of, even with multiple treatments. I looked into ultrasonic cleaning machines, but most were way beyond my budget until I found the CleanerVinyl series machine. The system I ordered was the Easy3 Expert Kit and I purchased the cavitation tank through CleanerVinyl. The tank arrived in about 5 days and the rest of the kit arrived a day later, all very expertly packed. This is based on a high quality cavitation tank from a reputable supplier in England and a very cleverly designed series of components that clamp onto the tank and allow you to ultrasonically clean one or several records (depending on the model) and dry them. The system is supplied with very detailed manuals and the components look to be well made. Everything went together perfectly and after tests on about a dozen records, I’m wishing I had discovered this system much sooner. Not only have the ticks and pops been eliminated, but the records seem to have had a veil removed from them. It almost sounds like I have upgraded my cartridge. I used distilled water and a few drops of Photo Flo as a surfactant. While distilled water is pretty cheap (.89/gal. at my local supermarket), I’m considering getting the Micron 6L filter attachment that CleanerVinyl sells to avoid amassing plastic jugs and insure that grunge removed from the records doesn’t get redeposited on them. I definitely recommend the CleanerVinyl Easy 3!

This is a long and detailed review. We only post some excerpts here. Click on the link above to read it on vinylengine.com.
[...] I decided that the approach CleanerVinyl took with their products was the best fit for my needs. You could start with a very basic system and add only the accessories that made sense to you. As an alternative, they offer some bundles which combine their best features into packages. That is actually the route I went – I bought the “Pro Ultimate Kit” which also saved over $100 in lieu of purchasing a la carte. Going this direction also permitted me to purchase the best ultrasonic tank for my needs. They actually offer a discount on the the ultrasonic tanks that they offer when purchased with one of their record cleaning systems and their units come in different liter-based sizes (translating to how many records you want to clean at a time) and ultrasonic operating frequencies (so you can leverage cleaning intensity and emphasis on cleaning different types of debris against operating noise level). Being that I was just as concerned about the operating noise level as the person who started this thread, I ended up with the 6 liter 132KHz tank because it will clean “up to” 12 records at a time and generates very little noise with its higher-frequency transducers verus the more common 40KHz transducers in the typical tank. From what I had read, the smaller cavitation bubbles would also, in theory reach deeper into the record grooves than those produced by the machines operating at the more common 40KHz frequency. Everything in my order arrived well-packed and CleanerVinyl includes great printed documentation in color.[...]
One very handy aspect of this system is the fully adjustable rotational speed of the records. You can move from a literal pulsing action to a few RPM’s. I have found that running the cleaning process in a pulsed rotation for 10 to 15 minutes of ultrasonic bath at a temperature of 30 to 34 degrees Celsius works well. (I have read about people’s concerns that running the temperature at 35 degrees and higher might affect the vinyl.) Since the ultrasonic “cavitation” process inherently warms the water, I find that very little pre-heating is required. I also tend to run my tank for five minutes or so with no records in it, as a degassing effort (which is said to optimize cleaning efficiency) and this warms the water inherently.
After the cleaning process is complete, the Pro Ultimate package includes a lift system which will raise the records out of the bath, park them above the liquid level and this puts them directly inline with the drying fan which is very quiet in operation. I have been using a drying time of 15 minutes but, frankly, one could probably get by with 10 minutes because the records “look” dry at that point. [...].
Overall, I am pleased the system I ended up with. Taking the approach of selecting a tank size, ultrasonic frequency and the desired feature set was a win-win all around. Records come out quiet and I do believe that this process has increased some of the clarity and microdynamics of certain recordings.

I've had my Cleaner Vinyl Easy 6 for close to 2 years now and I can say the more I use it, the more I like it. I still get out the Spin Clean if I've got a lot of filthy records to take care of, but they get finished off in the Easy 6. Records look better, feel better and sound better after their trip through the Easy 6. I needed a little help getting started because my Ultrasonic unit was a non-standard size - but the support was second to none. If you're even thinking of going Ultra-Sonic and have the means, you cannot go wrong with one of these units. I look forward to the weekends I can set it up and knock out a hundred or so records while getting other domestic chores taken care of.

I purchased my CleanerVinyl Easy 3 in December 2020 and have now cleaned over 150 records with it. The results are truly impressive with virtually all clicks and pops gone. My 40 year old records sound as good as new. Well actually better than new; as I find new records often have several annoying clicks and pops, so I now clean them using my ultrasound bath and Easy 3 system before their first play.
I have found that distilled water with 1 to 2% isopropyl alcohol and a drop or two of Kodak Photo-flow to work really well.
The team at CleanerVinyl were very helpful and very prompt to respond to my enquiries, The build quality of the Easy 3 is both robust and well engineered. I have no regrets at all and I am delighted to be able to listen to my record collection without any pops or crackles. Who new that records can sound as clean as CDs!

As someone with a lot of records who has been looking for an efficient and high-throughput cleaning system, I've been very impressed so far having owned the CleanerVinyl ProXL Ultimate kit for about a month. I had been using a Spin Clean for years, and have also tested several different vacuum-based solutions. Both of the above types of cleaning are laborious during the cleaning process and require significant contact with the records, making them (in my view) less than ideal. As it was not a small expense (for me, at least), I did a lot of research before purchasing the ProXL system - mostly reading different forum threads (AudioKarma, SteveHoffman, VinylEngine, etc.) and general documentation about ultrasonic cleaning. In the end I decided to purchase a standard PS-60A 15L tank. Just as claimed, all components of the ProXL system fit this tank perfectly. There was a slight learning curve at first figuring out an optimal cleaning solution (I settled on 1.0% isopropyl alcohol, 0.1% Triton X-100, and the remaining 98.9% distilled water), a process for mixing and adding it to the tank, acquiring lots of distilled water during a pandemic, etc., but that was expected and everything is running smoothly now. So, what about the results? Well, I am confident this cleaning system works excellently - better than anything I've experienced in the past. I buy a lot of older used records and their background noise is substantially reduced with the CleanerVinyl system. Of course it will not repair scratches or other existing physical damage to your vinyl, but even records I had previously cleaned with the Spin Clean or a vacuum system were quieter after a run through the ultrasonic tank. While more noticeable on some records than others, the high end of the sound also seems more crisp somehow, with the low end a bit more pronounced as well. I've cleaned ~75 records so far, and have to say I also love that once initially set up, I can walk away and do something else while the records are cleaning and drying. The Micron filter system is also doing its job well. Initially my cleaning solution reads 0-1 ppm on a TDS meter (~$12 on Amazon), and after several cleaning runs where I turn on the filter between batches while records are rinsing/drying, I've only seen it go up to 2-3ppm (still plenty low enough to clean). Overall, I'm quite happy with the ProXL system. It lets me clean many records at once with minimal effort to a very high standard. Yes, it costs some money and took some time to configure initially but, if you have many records to clean and want great results, I think the ProXL system is is well worth the investment. It's still cheaper than standard commercial ultrasonic systems, and cleans many more records at once than they do (a big advantage in my book). Finally, I should note that CleanerVinyl provides excellent customer service. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and quickly. Looking forward to many years of cleaning with this system!

Hi vinyl fans! I have been looking into ultrasonic cleaning for my precious vinyl for a few months. I decided that my Nitty Gritty, while excellent, still didn’t get me all the way to sonic nirvana, especially since I started buying used vintage pressings (MoFi and similar) of some of my favorite albums. Many of the systems out there were hard to justify or even just afford, so I found myself looking at products from CleanerVinyl. They seem to strike a good balance between quality and price, bringing ultrasonic cleaning to a price point where I could try out for myself and hear the difference. I was frustrated that it was difficult for me to find a video on YouTube of an amateur audiophile showing the workings of the system and giving impressions, so I decided to make one for the next person who comes along. Please check it out below. I think I may make some more videos in the future and welcome feedback on the video as well as the method I am using with the records. Cheers!

As an owner of a small record store, I can tell you that one of the biggest struggles is cleaning used records quickly and efficiently. Thankfully, the CleanerVinyl ProXL has solved this for us.
Previously, we were using a high end vacuum machine which, whilst producing good results, took long and arduous hours each day to meet our demand. Since upgrading to this system, we can clean 15-20 records in 20 minutes, and the results are just unbelievable. Seriously, records we had given up on after a vacuum clean now play with quiet surfaces and a dynamic range we had no idea it was capable of.
As a record collector, too, I've since taken to cleaning my own extensive collection of records, and hearing some of these again is like listening to them for the very first time. I've now cleaned over 700 records with the same filter (and thus same distilled solution, give and take a top up every once in a while) - this is just incredible. I'd always been somewhat put off ultrasonic cleaners due to the costly necessity of replacing the distilled water after as little as 20 cleaned records (according to instructions from other systems), but the cleaner vinyl pro's filter system means it's a hassle free and money saving job in the long run.
Simply put, I can't recommend this highly enough - for both record store owners as well as collectors. Thanks again Rudy for answering all of my (probably silly) questions prior to purchase, and for making life a hell of a lot easier and business a lot more profitable. Oh, and most importantly, for making my records sound infinitely better. Superb.

THE CLEANERVINYL PRO MAKES CLEANING RECORDS FAST, FUN AND EASY!
I have been happily using the CleanerVinyl PRO record cleaning system now for over two years and LOVE it. I have cleaned over 800 LPs without any failures or breakdowns. Recently, I had the chance to pick up the new, updated CleanerVinyl PRO system and the updated version of the CleanerVinyl LIFT-PRO.
I have to say the new CleanerVinyl PRO is a more robust redesign of the unit. Don't get me wrong, I still love the original PRO but there have been some notable improvements to the unit. First, it is more stable when loading records due to the wider footprint and the addition of four rubber type footers that give it a rock solid stability, with no chance of tipping over. The locking clamp has a vastly superior surface area, making better contact, holding records in place while rotating in your ultrasonic cleaner. The motor has a much wider range of speed control than the original RPM unit that used to be sold as a separate unit. That's right, the RPM unit is now built into the PRO - standard. It's nice to see a unit that gives the end user more choice with the speed one wants to have their records turn during the cleaning and drying process.
The NEW, improved LIFT-PRO incorporate attached side panels to make the drying process faster by directing more of the fan's power to the records. These panels also give the LIFT-PRO a more solid feel. Also, for those that own the original PRO and LIFT-PRO units, these new units are compatible with the Vevor 6 liter ultrasonic cleaner you may be using now.
I wanted to add a comment on the NEW 132 kHz ultrasonic cleaner being sold on the CleanerVinyl website. Yes, it is more expensive than the 40 kHz cleaner you may be using now, but when used together: the 40 kHz unit first (for 20 minutes), followed by the 132 kHz unit (for 15 minutes), all I can say is WOW!..I have yet to hear a single pop on a record after using both units together at these times. I do need to say though that I do a pre-clean on every record, new or used, before putting them through the ultrasonic cleaning cycles, doing the pre-clean on a vacuum record cleaning machine. Although not necessary, I use the vacuum machine to take some of the crud off the record to save my solutions in my ultrasonic cleaners from having to be changed more often, even though I have do use the CleanerVinyl micron filter to also help redepositing of contaminants onto the record during cleaning.
For those of you that think you can get by using only a vacuum machine, I'm someone that once believed just that. Boy, was I ever wrong, making that assumption. Using the 40 kHz ultrasonic cleaner was a vast improvement over the vacuum cleaner alone, but the addition of the 132 kHz ultrasonic cleaner sold on the CleanerVinyl website is a GAME CHANGER! I purchased a used Mint - copy of the George Benson LP, "Bad Benson" on Discogs, and after putting it through the paces with the CleanerVinyl system and these two ultrasonic cleaners, it was a mind blowing experience! This was a CTI 70's pressing of the album and after cleaning, I swear it sounded like listening to the reel to reel master tape. Happy isn't a strong enough word to describe how elated I was making the investment in both ultrasonic cleaners together with the CleanerVinyl PRO and LIFT-PRO systems. This is the closest to fun as one can experience, while cleaning records.
So, are there other products that can do the same job? Sure, BUT, if you are going to clean a lot of records, the CleanerVinyl system is FAR EASIER, smoother and faster to use. Once you actually use the system, you will understand what I am talking about.
In conclusion, I wanted to say a word about Rudy, the man responsible for bringing the CleanerVinyl system to the world. He is a TOP NOTCH businessman, an audiophile, that takes care of his customers and stands behind his products. How so, you may ask? Well, let;s just say that if you ever have an issue with your CleanerVinyl system or a question, he will make it right and find your remedy. His products are durable, easy to use and make your life FAR EASIER than any other system I have used to clean records. Rudy from CleanerVinyl has done the audiophile vinyl community a tremendous service. Thanks, Rudy, from Jeff S. Sun Prairie, WI.

I just got this cleaning system and have been using for the past 2 days. Set up and instructions were simple and their customer service and response was stellar. I've had an OKKI NOKKI for the past 3 years and this blew it out of the water. Records were restored with minimal crackle (the vacuum drying mechanism on the OKKI adds a lot of static and dust). I can stack and clean 6 records at a time. It makes record cleaning fun because of the obvious and noticeable difference in sound of properly cleaned records. +1 on this system. Jonathan

I've just received the EasyOne from Cleaner Vinyl and i'm very happy with it !I received it very quicky (a couple of days), just had to pay the customs taxes and start cleaning my dirtiest albums. I first use my ClearAudio machine to take out the heavy dust and then, 20 minutes in the ultrasonic bath. Sounds loud and clear.. Couldn't believe it ! Thanks folks, nice material!

Upon checking all the vinyl cleaning systems out there, I decided to buy the CleanerVinyl Pro Collector Kit and the CleanerVinyl Singles-Pro Spacers from Cleanervinyl.com. The unit looks very well built and is very practical and user friendly. It provides a lot of flexibility since I can clean from 1 to 12 records at a time. The drying unit is very efficient and the discs are bone dry after 30-45 minutes. In addition, I got a lot of advice from Rudy to help me decide and I trust the service is excellent. I highly recommend buying a unit from Cleanervinyl.com
The cleaning result is fantastic and I can tell a big difference in sound between before and after.

I just added the Cleaner Vinyl Micron 6L to my system. I already have the Easy 3. I wanted to ensure I wasn't using dirty water and wanted a means to keep using the cleaning solution versus having to discard it after a number of cleans. This filter is brilliant. And it arrived just in time for Christmas! This system by far outshines anything I have looked at and it's affordable. Thank you Cleaner Vinyl!

Cheers!
***UPDATE*** Please be sure to watch the second video and / or read comments below for updated impressions following a day of experimenting with and better learning how to use the CleanerVinyl system!

Jonathan

I've been using the CleanerVinyl Pro for a couple weeks now and have cleaned about 100 records so far. The process is very effective and time efficient. I'm using distilled water with ten drops of TergiKleen (available at Amazon for $30) at a temperature of 38C (100F) for 24 minutes. The records dry very quickly using the fan since the TergiKleen prevents beading and water spots. They come out clean, shiny, and static free. Very nice cleaning system and worth it if you have a large collection. When I'm done cleaning for the day I drain the solution back into the distilled water jugs through a paint filter funnel which catches the dirt and dust that was removed so the solution is clean for the next use. Don't forget to order the 7-inch adapters if you need them. Great flexible system. Highly recommended!

Answered all of my questions and was patient while I decided to make my decision. The build quality is above board. Far better than expected. Installation was super simple. Works great! Not cheap but works very well. I use the cleaning cycle for 20 minutes then switch to the drying cycle for 15 mins, in 35 minutes I have cleaned 6 albums. If there are thick deposits on the records spot clean them first as this will not remove large lumps. I recommend using the filter pump every time as you could see debris floating in the liquid when the filter pump was off, as soon as I turned it on the debris when away. Customer service was good and the unit arrived within a couple of days of ordering.

I hadn’t realized how much the slowly degrading cleanliness of my records had impacted the sound quality and my enjoyment of the music:
I received my Cleaner-Vinyl Easy3 today and I won’t go back to cleaning records by hand.
I already had a 15L ultrasonic cleaner from another application so just bought the rotator assembly and fan drying unit. These are designed for use with 6L units, so with the extra capacity and being able to distill my own water, I didn’t feel compelled to buy their water filtration unit. I have a collection that is mostly 60’s through 80’s records which had not necessarily been pampered prior to my acquisition; I have records that need to be cleaned and then maintained. Being able to do three at a time is sufficient with total time sleeve to sleeve being about 40 minutes (20 in the tank and 20 drying). I’m using 12L of distilled water in the unit with 8 drops of Kodak Photo Flo 200 as the surfactant and so far have cleaned 18 records today with no sign of contaminants becoming adhered to the finished records. My first records were a 1972 pressing of Harvest by Neil Young which had been retired from play (and replaced by a reissue) due to persistent cracks and pops I couldn’t get rid of with manual cleaning. I was very excited to hear the results after the first go round and was not disappointed; 95%+ of the persistent cracks and pops are now gone and the inner groove distortion I was battling on side 2’s “words” is now nonexistent. Clean records are a joy I had missed as “new” used records became slowly degraded over time.
I feel like this is one of the best $500 I’ve spent on audio quality ever.

In the vinyl world if you want something effective to clean your records, you could spend $1500, or even $4000 on the same cleaning technology and process. This was about $375, for the sonicator, record holder, and the surfactant. I got this all running, and cleaned about 150 records over a few nights time, 2-3 hrs per night. Nothing to it. Just works amazingly well. This record holder never slowed down, never got hot, or anything. It’s a great design, with limited potential breakage it appears (limited moving parts.) Hey, I would like to share my experiences with the CleanerVinyl Easy3 Expert Kit. I bought it 3 weeks ago and now I’m very happy to have it. In the beginning I was skeptical, because I wasn’t sure what is the advantage compared to conventional cleaning methods (e.g. cleaning with microfiber cloth and cleaning solution) but finally I decided to order it and to test it. Delivery was fast (5 days to Germany) and everything was safely boxed. Contrary to what is recommended at the CleanerVinyl website, I decided to buy another ultrasonic cleaner from a company in the Netherlands, which in my opinion is of higher quality but is a little bit more expensive than the recommended one. The ultrasonic cleaner (b-autoclaaf 6.5 liter ultrasonic cleaner digital) has the nearly the same dimensions like the other one and therefore I could use the cleaning kit without any problems. All components of the kit are very sturdy and the equipment can be set up very easily. Mounting of the records is also very easily done. As cleaning solution I used aqua bidest and 2-3 ml wetting agent (Amaloco H 10). For record cleaning I set the temperature to 20°C or 68 °F and the time to 20 minutes. For first cleaning, I choose some old records from 1977 without any scratches, but some pop and crackling noises. Nonetheless, I can say that the condition of the each records was very good at this time. After ultrasonic cleaning and drying (25 mins) of the records nearly 80 % of the pop and crackling nosises disappeared, which was incredible but a fact. I cleaned 12 records in total and I got more or less the same results. For further testing a workmate gave me some very old and very dirty records, again the same result, pop and crackling noise were remarkably reduced. In conclusion, I can say the results are very convincing and I’m very happy to have the CleanerVinyl Easy 3 Expert Kit as it makes cleaning very easy and fast. I would also recommend to buy the CleanerVinyl Micron filter because I could see a lot of dirt on the ground of the water bath after cleaning 6 records, which increased with each washing, so that I had to change the water after cleaning twelve records. However, due to a lack of money I decided against buying the filter system and so it is only an opinion and not a test result. Best wishes Christian

Great affordable alternative to expensive Ultrasonic record cleaners:
Overall very satisfied. I bought the extender so am able to clean two records at once. Particularly effective when used in combo with a scrub, vacuum and a final rinse stage. Reduces a significant amount of surface noise and boosts the clarity of the music. Doesn't fix everything but has made a huge difference on the vinyl tested so far. Happy customer!

All I can say is WOW. I have been using Disc Doctor manually for about 10 years. It works, but CV takes it to an entire new higher level. Almost all clicks and pops have been eliminated, dead quiet between songs. I have a VPI Prime with Sumiko Blackbird and Decware tube amp/preamp and DIY Decware 8" single driver speakers. Cables are from Blue Jean Cables. I have been listening to my new clean vinyl for about 12 hours yesterday and 10 hours today (I'm retired lol) - Lynn Stanley, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, Bill Evans, Miles, Boss Brass, Getz, Wynton Kelly, Sonny Rollins, Harry James, Chicago, BS&T, Oscar Peterson, Stones, SRV - lots of 45 remasters in my collection - WOW - no noise, no pops and clicks.
I have the Lift-Pro and it worked fine from the getgo. I went crazy and cleaned about 1000 albums over 5 days - it works exactly as advertised. I purchased about 10 gallons of distilled water and 16oz of Kodak Photo Flo, and cleaned 10-11 records at a pop. i let them dry with the fan for 30 minutes and let them sit for about 15 minutes on a wood dish dryer that I found at a Dollar store years ago, which is perfect for vinyl drying. I had a couple that had a few drops after this, but 99% were dry after this process.
Thank you for an excellent product.

I have used the CleanerVinyl Easy6 system now for about one month. It can clean up 6 records at a time with the spacers provided. The system feels very solid and sturdy..it should last a very long time. The Easy6 includes the Micro Filter, Drying Fan, Drain System and RPM Module as shown in the video. After purchasing the ultrasonic cleaning machine from Amazon (CleanerVinyl provides the necessary links to fit the system you purchase), I was up and running in about 15 minutes. I also used one of the cleaning recipe suggested by CleanerVinyl on it's website..i.e. distilled water and a few drops of Kodak photoflo which can be purchased on Amazon. After cleaning 10 batches (60 records), I can honestly say this system is worth the money, which by way is about 1/4 the price (including the cleaner) of high end ultrasonic cleaners. I have cleaned both new (even new records should be cleaned as they often have factory dust, residue and other contaminants) and used records, both with the same result: they always sounded better after a 15 minute cleaning and 25 minute dry in the unit. They also look spotless...even the new ones have a cleaner look. Outside of the improved sound quality, the best part is the convenience. With the Easy6. one can clean and dry up to 6 records sleeve to sleeve in about 45 minutes and, unlike manual washing or high end ultrasonic machines that clean one or two at at time, you don't have to attend to the records while you clean them (with the exception of lifting the records at the end cleaning cycle to dry them) , leaving you free to do other things like listening to your clean records! You don't have to handle wet records at all and the system creates no mess or clean-up requirements after your done. Cleaning records is actually fun now. I didn't really consider getting an ultrasonic cleaner in the past due to the high end price, but when I saw this system, and it's great overall price value, I took the plunge and haven't regretted it for an instance. It will also save you money by saving your cartridge and re-using the same cleaning solution for many batches thanks to the micron filter. Rudy, the inventor and owner of CleanerVinyl was very patient with my questions and offered great suggestions....he responded very quickly to all my emails. So to summarize:, good improvement on sound quality, very easy to use and time saving system, and great customer service. I highly recommend the CleanerVinyl system!

I had a GEM Dandy for a while which worked well. ...Better than others I’ve had. The Easy3 replaced the GEM. It is easier to use from start-to-finish and works amazingly well. My buddy has one as well which he loves, too. The price is right comparatively speaking as well; it’s cheaper than other U/S cleaners! I’m glad I took the plunge!!

I recently purchased a CleanerVinyl Easy6 [Audiophile] kit, and I have finished cleaning 5 batches of records.
I was considering an ultrasonic record cleaner for well over a year, but didn't know where to start. I had some other audio projects ahead of the cleaner, and I sporadically read reviews over the year. Once my amp building projects came to a close, I got serious about the US cleaner.
After looking at options and researching setups on DIYAudio, a trusted audio friend recommended to me the CleanerVinyl setup. I went with this because it was a "turnkey" kit including cleaning record spinner, the tank filtration system, and the fan all in one box. I followed the link on the website to Amazon to get a 6L Ultrasonic cleaner - this made it easy knowing the unit would be the right fit. After building a number of amps, I really wanted to "press the easy button" on this project. This one hit the sweet spot for me in terms of design, setup, features, ease-of-use, multi-record efficiency, and price.
While waiting for the shipments to arrive I also ordered a pack of MoFi inner sleeves and TergiKleen on Amazon. I went to the pharmacy and got a few gallons of distilled water.
I set up the cleaner next to the utility sink on the unfinished side of my basement - opposite of my listening room.
Unboxing was simple enough, and the directions were clear for setup and operation. It didn't take long before I had my first batch in the cleaner. I think it took longer to decide which would be the first 6 records.
So far I'm sticking to the directions in terms of cleaning formula and timing. I'm using distilled water + Tergikleen. Note: there are other formulas to try. I figured if TergiKleen is good enough for the Library of Congress, it's good enough for me.
I'm running a 15 minute cleaning cycle then a dry cycle. Then I put the records into fresh MoFi sleeves.
My first batch of records included a beat up old Harry Belafonte record and a number of favorites from the 70's - 00's.
The results -
Harry Belafonte. Before was nasty with clicks and pops. Horrible. But the music is wonderful, and it's one of those records that will get my wife to stop what she's doing and come to the listening room. The cleaner improved the ticks and pops. They're by no means gone, but there is an improvement.
Moving on to the more modern records that are in decent shape: Midnight Oil - Red Sails in the Sunset, Heart, and others. Simply amazing. First - surface noise is greatly reduced. But the biggest revelation is the detail, nuances, and information I've never heard before has been revealed. Breathtaking. I hear new things from top to bottom.
Since first batch I have run several more batches, and I have a stack in the queue. It will take quite some time to get through my collection of 1500+ LP's. For starters I now have 150 MoFi sleeves by the cleaner waiting for action.
The next test I want to run is on new vinyl. I have just purchased a live Midnight Oil Armistice Day 3xLP Live set, Eilen Jewell's newest record Gypsy, and new vinyl from Agent Blå. I'll play those fresh from the shrink wrapped package, then clean them to hear the difference. My friend who pointed me to the CleanerVinyl unit repeatedly told me I would be "gob smacked" by this test.
For grins I opened up the filter unit and saw the crud in there from just 30 records. It's amazing the amount of dust they pick up. One thing I look forward to is having a dust-free stylus. It won't be the device that drags the dust bunnies from the grooves.

I've been using a cheap (about $250 several years back) Chinese model with this:
CleanerVinyl: Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaning Systems
Very happy camper with the set-up. Just used it earlier today and it removed a loud click on a quiet passage on a new record. Couldn't see any dirt and worried it was a manufacturing flaw but now it's gone.
I suppose if money were no object I'd go ahead and spend 4X what I spent on my current set-up and get one of the nice, high-end models. But, money is an object and what I have works splendidly.

Wow! What a difference ultrasonic cleaning can do to a very dirty, undamaged LP! I also love the mellow sound of the B&O turntable line. A friend had one in the late 70's and I noticed how smooth and enjoyable those turntables reproduced music! Should have bought one back then. I did purchase the CleanerVinyl Lift Pro system and it works as advertised! In fact, it's cleaning the new albums I just purchased. Love the CleanerVinyl system! I am not a paid reviewer. I have purchased CleanerVinyl Easy6 system about 2 months ago. Before purchasing I have done some research on another Ultrasonic record cleaning solutions and have decided to go with CleanerVinyl. I talked to Rudy at first, the man behind this invention for advice what system to get (One, Three, Six, Pro, I did not consider Max what is 24 records at a time) and decided for Easy 6 - and that was a good choice. That comes with integrated dry fan and I have added filtration system to it - Micron and that was another good choice. What a big difference from the days when Michael Fremer did his first review of CleanerVinyl system (sometimes in 2016?). No need to empty tank for drying after each clean, just lift al records above the water and lock it at that place and start drying using fan. I was using the same water, just always adding some more to the required level and adding few drops of Kodak Photo-Flo 200 solution. In about 2 weeks I finished cleaning about 600 records with the same filter (see attached photo of the new and used one) and the water was still very clean with no signs of contamination. To clean a batch of 6 records usually took me 1 hour from taking records out from the sleeves, clean and dry them and putting back to new inner record sleeves. Cleaning time I set for 15 minutes and drying for 25 - 28 minutes and that was sufficient even when house temperatures were lower. In the summer time I believe that 20 - 23 minutes will be enough for drying time. Currently I enjoy listening to cleaned records and for some what I play more frequently use just a clean Audioquest anti static record cleaner brush if there is some debris on the record. When time comes, I’ll fill up Ultrasonic Cleaner container with water again and with new filter will clean another batch of records, again about 500-600 of them. Before using Ultrasonic Easy6 record cleaner my primary record cleaning machine was VPI HW-17 for many years. That unit was a big, heavy, like a tank. It did the job but not the same way as CleanerVinyl system does. My records are now pristine clean after using Easy6 system and sound great too. For those of you who are looking for record cleaning system or have traditional one using brush with vacuum I strongly recommend CleanerVinyl. It is a simple but great and inexpensive solution to keep your vinyl collection in a top shape. Ivan Buzik

Hi, purchased CleanerVinyl Easy6 audiophile kit ( with Micron filter)and have now cleaned 48 records so far which is a pure joy ! A lot of my records are vintage and it is a pleasure to see them shine after cleaning, last but not least the most important thing : Hear the difference before and after cleaning.. The Count Basie lp « Warm Breeze « at Pablo Today (2312131) is for me an extraordinary listening experience , I have listen to this record since i was young on several hifi equipment over the years, but what i hear now is something complete different. This is big band music at its best. The sound is crystal clear and it is very easy to hear how much better the transparency is. The instruments are better separated from each other and the background is more black. The soundstage is bigger and deeper. Everything sounds more relaxed. I also experienced this with another superb recording from the Mounty Alexander trio: «Montreux Alexander» at MPS ( 0210986MSW) which i actually bought new in 2018. This is a live recording and after the cleaning i feel i am transported back to the event itself in 1’976. Especially on the track «Feelings» you will hear a great improvement in sound after cleaning. In fact this is not only a new record but also a 180 g «audiophile» vesion so i did not expect so much difference in sound quality, but i was really wrong ! Before purchasing i went through several options, all of them much more expensive than CleanerVinyl. I had a great communication with Rudy already from the start. He was very helpful and gave me exceptional service and advice throughout the process ! He is the person who go that extra mile to please the customer ! The CleanerVinyl gives you a quality feel all over. It is built to last, and easy to assembly and to use. You can’t go wrong with CleanerVinyl.

I've been going thru a lot of audio websites studying different systems for record cleaning. 3 months ago I decided to take the leap and purchase what seemed the best deal out there for me. After around 500 records cleaned and friends asking me to borrow it, I can truly say that I don't regret a penny! Great system, quick response and delivery, no hassle what so ever. Just don't forget to order the extra 7 inch washers if you want to clean 45's! I wash at 30° Celsius for about 15 minutes and use an anti-static wetting product - magic!

This is a review of the CleanerVinyl Lift Pro record cleaning system. Generally speaking, I have been fairly happy with my VPI record cleaning machine and Audio Intelligent Vinyl solutions. I have always thought that this combination was about the best combination of products I could find to clean my vinyl LP records. I have to admit that I have spent a lot of money trying different record cleaning solutions over the years. I felt that I was getting close to the results I sought but, I have often wondered if there was a record cleaning system that could outperform a vacuum record cleaning machine that produced better results, was cheaper to operate and was much less labor intensive yet more efficient than cleaning one side of one record at a time. I also needed an answer to greatly reducing the nearly 100db shop vac noise produced when vacuuming the cleaning solutions off the record. The noise had become a huge annoying distraction in our household. Enter the CleanerVinyl record cleaning system! I ordered the complete Pro Ultimate CleanerVinyl system with the Lift Pro for a 6 Liter ultrasonic cleaner. The system included the CleanerVinyl Pro (clean up to 12 records at a time), the Lift Pro accessory (includes drying system and drain tube), the Micron Filter System and the RPM Module (to adjust rotational speed of records being cleaned and also while drying of the records). I also purchased the proper 6L Vevor JPA-30 ultrasonic cleaning machine from a seller on Ebay. I love the CleanerVinyl system. I went ahead and purchased the same Freddie Hubbard LP, "Polar AC" (CTI label -1975) that is featured on the CleanerVinyl website videos. It was advertised on Discogs for $5.00 and was stated to be in Mint - condition. When the LP arrived, clearly it was pretty dirty for a mint - condition record. So, I set up all the accessories on top of my ultrasonic cleaner, filled it with distilled water and four (4) drops of Kodak Photo-Flo 200. I turned on the ultrasonic machine and let it run for a full 30 minutes with the Micron filter system also running to degas the water. Once that was done I decided to only clean three records at one time. I set the machine for 20 minutes (CleanerVinyl recommends cleaning for 15 minutes) and also set the temp on the ultrasonic cleaner at 31 degrees Centigrade. I watched the records turn and when 20 minutes was up, I lifted the records up, locking them in place above the water vat (a nice Lift Pro convenience) and plugged in the fan. Came back 30 minutes later to three shiny clean records (CleanerVinyl states 25 minutes is needed to dry the records). So now, it was time for the test. I put on the Freddie Hubbard LP. I WAS STUNNED at just how quiet the LP became. I mean DEAD QUIET, like a CD quiet. All I heard was music and it was truly astonishing. No pops, no surface noise - just wonderfully relaxing music. I'm sold on this CleanVinyl system. It is very well designed, goes together and operates quite intuitively and exudes quality. Yes, it isn't cheap. It is exceedingly well designed and it works! My records sound so good now that the cost of this system is not even a concern. Plus, it's much, much more fun cleaning records with the CleanerVinyl system than it ever could be any other way. To top it off, I will easily save several hundred dollars in record cleaning solutions and record cleaning brush refills this year! Finally, I would like to say a word about the creator of the CleanerVinyl system. Before making my purchase, I sent several emails to the company and got a prompt email answer every single time. I have to say in all my years of business, Rudy from CleanerVinyl is as good as they get. His commitment to customer service is remarkable. I am confident, if I ever had a question or concern, Rudy will immediately help me find a solution. I can't think of a better model for a USA based company. If you are sick of the chore of cleaning records, buy a CleanerVinyl system. Once you do, you'll wonder why you waited this long to do so!

A very happy customer!

First let me say that I highly recommend CleanerVinyl as the route to take if you are serious about cleaning and maintaining your record collection, if you are serious about it. There are a lot of solutions to accomplish this with a lot of cleaners which require very large expensive hardware investments. The thing I like about my Easy6 Audiophile Kit which I purchased, is that: 1. It cleans the records! 2. The investment is not large. 3. It is not a large hardware investment. In fact, the ultrasonic cleaner itself is purchased on Amazon for a modest amount by third parties. If it breaks, it is not a disaster and you can get another one quickly. The CleanerVinyl system attached to the cleaner so that part of your system is ok. If something were to go wrong with that, CleanerVinyl would provide great customer support. I think there system is the most cost effective way to go. I have cleaned several used records I bought so far. They look brand new now! Highly recommended!
Posted by Paul to our Amazon listing of the CleanerVinyl Pro on 3/8/2019: 5.0 out of 5 stars: Excellent Product
I have been collecting vinyl for about 20 years now and I have thousands of records. These records vary in condition because I bought some brand new or excellent condition, while others I have purchased at yard sales or Goodwill. Buying the CleanerVinyl Pro has greatly helped me restore many of these records and I am totally satisfied with my purchase. I was pleased with the results and I simply used distilled water. There are a plethora of different recipes/concoctions as to what to use for a cleaning formula and I am excited to explore them in the future; but for now, this system has been very helpful – I mean you can literally see the dirt that gets removed, it's quite satisfying! Also, I want to add that I am on a budget, but I ultimately went with the Pro version because of the ability to clean 12 records at once. I am very happy I made this decision. It should mentioned that this system is not a cure-all for scratches etc. – nor does it claim to be - but for most problems I have encountered involving dirt or mold this system has helped dramatically improve audio quality. -Paul

There are two key components involved in why I buy products: (1) the product does what it claims to do and (2) the service and attitude from the seller reflects the investment I make. On both these counts the Cleaner Vinyl Product gets five stars from me. On the first point, I have searched for many years to find a system that cleans my vinyl records in an effective way, that (a) doesn’t cost a fortune, (b) doesn’t sound like jet plane has landed in my house and (c) doesn’t involve the use of some kind of brush technique, which in my opinion, risks pushing dirt back into the grooves. Enter the Cleaner Vinyl ultrasonic cleaning system that meets all my needs and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I chose the Easy 3 system, with a drying fan and a water filtration system which extends the life of my cleaning solution greatly. Am I happy with the results? You bet I am. The improvements have been astounding! Even records that were in my ‘unplayable’ stack (because they had grown mould), were suddenly brought back to life, and playing like new. The system is easy to set up and use, but if you are at all worried, then just hop over to the many ‘how to’ videos which explain everything in detail. On the second point (service and attitude of the supplier) well this was the deciding factor for me. My vinyl record collection is very valuable to me, and I wanted to make sure I was buying a system that wouldn’t do any harm to my precious records, so inevitably I had a lot of questions to ask. Each time I asked a question, Rudy would respond to me quickly; none of this, “we’ll get back to you in 48 hours” rubbish that company’s seem to think is acceptable these days. No, Rudy responded within a few short hours, even over the weekend, which was refreshing, and impressive to see. And his answers were detailed, honest and helpful, which gave me a lot of confidence. So, all in all, a fantastic vinyl record system that does what it claims from cleaning to drying, without you having to touch your records, and all delivered by Rudy in a manner which demonstrated he genuinely valued the money I was spending with him. Highly recommended product and supplier/manufacturer. Jeff King (UK)

If you’re into vintage gear and records then you’re probably looking for a good way to make sure your vinyl is cleaned both safely and thoroughly. Over the years I’ve used many systems. Each of these systems have their advantages and disadvantages. Some do a great job but require a fair amount of time and effort. And/or, you end up cleaning your records in what amounts to a dirty solution. Some are fast and easy but can be expensive, noisy and still hands on.
For some time now I have wanted to try an ultrasonic record cleaner but several things (cost, mostly) kept me away. Then I ran across the CleanerVinyl System. It’s a very clever system which makes use of a standard 6 liter ultrasonic cleaning device and turns it into a very affordable and effective cleaning solution for records. They make several different options as far as features and capacity go. After doing some research and viewing their videos and pictures I contacted the company with my remaining questions.
Rudy, the genius behind the engineering, answered all of my questions patiently. I ordered their Pro system which includes a lift/motor system to immerse and turn the records (and then lift them out when done) as well as a drying fan and a filtering system to keep the cleaning solution very clean (and circulating). I ordered the actual 6 liter cleaning machine from Amazon. Everything else comes from CleanerVinyl.
You will need a couple of feet of counter (I used the counter in our guest bathroom) and a power outlet or power strip. You will also need some space to load records onto the spindle and room to set your jackets and sleeves safely aside. A modest sized bathroom will probably work and it’s handy to have a sink for emptying the cleaning fluid when it’s time. You will also want room to which you can close the door.
Setup can seem little daunting at first, but it really is as simple as it looks. Everything just clips on to the machine. Within a few minutes I had system set up and running. While you can use a homemade cleaning solution or a commercial cleaning solution, all you really need is distilled water. The ultrasonic vibration does ALL of the work.
I put my first batch of records through (you can get the system in different sizes) and set the timer for 15 minutes and waited. Before I left I made certain that the fluid level was in the right place, the motor was turning (and the records spinning) and the pump and filter system were working. Once you turn on the actual cleaning machine you will know it! It’s loud. It sounds like an old-fashioned electric razor only louder.
Fifteen minutes later I returned and used the lift to raise the records out of the cleaning solution and put them in front of the drying fan. I turned on the fan and left the room again for 15 minutes. When I returned the records were clean and dry and I was able to shut everything off. It was time for the test. To see if the ultrasonic cleaning did a better job than my other systems. The short answer is yes.
Every record that came out of the ultrasonic cleaner had a dazzling, brilliant look to it. Like it had never been quite clean before. Some troublesome records that still had some pops and noise even after repeated friction-based cleaning were now DEAD quiet. This was the most surprising thing for me. Frankly I was certain that my other cleaning methods were getting the job done. For the most part they were. But after seeing records come out of ultrasonic cleaning it’s clear to me that other methods weren’t getting everything. More importantly, things simply sounded better. The noise floor was at least slightly lower. And the sporadic pops and tics which never came clean before are now gone.
After a couple of weeks of ownership I have run many records through the system and am impressed at how good of a job water and ultrasonic vibration do. Of course this system cannot remove scratches. Nor can it magically compensate for noisy recordings or poor pressings. But it can and does make sure that your vinyl is as clean possible. I recommend this setup as a simple but well-designed and thought out alternative to much more expensive ultrasonic record cleaners.
One caveat. If you’re cleaning records which have been wiped with peanut butter or motor oil (or oily fingers) you might need to do some spot cleaning in addition to the ultrasonic. Or you can consider using a cleaning fluid with or your distilled water. Plain water, even with the power of ultrasonic technology, simply won’t remove some substances like oil or grease.
If you have any doubts, email Rudy [email protected] and run your questions by him.

I just finished going through my first batch of 50 records and all I can say is that this cleaning system is miraculous! I started with the thrift shop and dj bin dirtiest of the bunch so i could get the hang of it and observe a difference and honestly, there wasn't much of a learning curve and the records came out spotless. Every record went in with fingerprints, visible dirt, and other unknown smudges. It's super simple to use and the assembly was intuitive. The 3d parts are more solid than plastic components that would be used in mainstream production and their approach to the accessories makes this system easy to upgrade or replace unlike units like the kirmuss. I got the Audiophile One system so i spent a little more because of the filter add on, but this was well worth it. Prior to this, I didn't do much more than a spritz of Gruv Glide and the sound quality improvements are amazing after an ultrasonic cleaning. The only pops that I hear are from record defects. If you're currently in the market for an ultrasonic cleaner, i would suggest heavily considering one of the cleaner vinyl systems that meet your budget. This guy has a lot of options at different price points for everyone.

I have recently purchased the CleanerVinyl system from cleanervinyl.com with the Micro Filter, Drying Fan, Drain System and RPM Module. I have been a collector of vinyl for many decades and have used most all published methods of cleaning records as well as a few concoctions of my own. After the first load of records, I started listening to the cleaned vinyl ( while running the next batch) and was absolutely amazed at the difference of sound quality. I was researching the higher priced systems for quite some time, I now rest assured I chose the correct system. I am using Tergitol and distilled water per the instructions, a rinse and dry....AWESOME!. The first attempt at customer service was an email to CleanerVinyl.com and my question was answered in minutes, that's good old fashioned service. The recommended ultrasonic tank is a perfect fit also. Thank you!

A filter that works as advertised!
I have been using the Cleanervinyl Pro system for quite a while and have had great results with it. When I had the opportunity to add the CleanerVinyl Micron system to my ultrasonic setup, I did so.
I'm glad I did!
First of all, it's obvious that a lot of design work went into the Micron pump/filter unit because it fits my 6 liter tank perfectly. It is quiet and really circulates the cleaning fluid well. The 3D printed parts of the unit fit together as intended and the whole device has a "quality" feel to it. The instructions mention that it can run all the time if needed, and I have no doubt that's true.
If you are wanting to upgrade an existing CleanerVinyl system or if you want a robust, efficient filter for another cleaning system, then take a serious look at the CleanerVinyl Micron.

This is a great device that allows you to keep the water or cleaning solution clean as it contacts your records. This allows using the same water or cleaning solution for many records before you have to change them. A very efficient way to trap the dirt and prevent it for contacting the records' surface. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

It is the most efficient and time saving way to clean your records especially if you have a big collection. I used it to clean LPs, 45 rpm singles (15 min at 25C) and also 78 rpm Shellac records (10 min at 20C), make sure to check that shellac records don't have a crack line.
While cleaning and during the subsequent drying using the 4 fans accessory, I can clean the outer sleeve , prepare a new inner sleeve and be ready to pack clean records and stage them on my shelf, all this in about an hour time. Another advantage is to detect and sort any warped record. I am very satisfied with this purchase especially when comparing the sound before and after on my used records collection.

My Take!
OK, all you audiophiles and/or stereophiles out there, here is my honest to goodness personal review of the Cleaner Vinyl ultrasonic record cleaning system.
I purchased the Cleaner Vinyl One several months ago in anticipation of the arrival of my new turntable (Mofi Ultradeck + M), which replaced my old stalwart of 45 years, a Philips 212. Yes! I’m that old! Along with the Cleaner Vinyl One, I also purchased a couple of their add-on adapters called Cleaner Vinyl Two so that I could clean 3 records at one time. I was tempted to go for the Cleaner Vinyl Pro, which cleans a lot more records at one time but wanted to try this technology, first, before investing that kind of cash. Of course, I also purchased an ultrasonic machine, which is required for this system. The Cleaner Vinyl One is, basically, the motor that turns the records in the ultrasonic bath. The entire package, including the ultrasonic machine, came to less than $400.00. Essentially, what you are buying from Cleaner Vinyl One is that motor and as many of their nifty attachments as you want. What you are also buying, of course, is their ingenuity, which, in my opinion, is well worth the price.
Here’s how I used the system: I started by cleaning a dozen, or so, of my 1960s and 1970s original pressings in Mofi’s Super Record Wash solution, which is nothing more than distilled water and a mild surfactant (no alcohol). You could make your own more cheaply, if you like, but I like Mofi’s stuff and I’m lazy. I then rinsed the records in a Knosti (same as a Spin Clean, only German) with distilled water. Then, I dried the records with high quality microfiber cloths and allowed them to air-dry further in Knosti’s record stand until I was certain they were completely and thoroughly dry. The last step was treating the cleaned records with Last record preservative. Keep in mind, here, that my record collection is in good shape. I’ve always stored the records properly, used anti-static poly sleeves, a Watts Disc Preener before every play in the old days, Discwasher D4 before every play in later days, hand-washed the records in distilled water & mild dishwashing detergent (no alcohol) occasionally and, basically, did everything I knew how to preserve them, short of rocking them to sleep in my arms. I’m sure I may have done some things I shouldn’t have or may have neglected to do some things I should have but I gave it my best shot with the technology I could afford along the way. The records were never played on anything other than the Philips with carts like modestly-priced Shures, Empires, Stantons, ADTs and others along the years, the styli brushed & cleaned occasionally (probably not as often as they should have been), never at more than 1.75 grams VTF (Baerwald geometry) and the Philips was always lovingly cared for. No one went near that TT but me! Of course, these records were played a lot over the years!
The results: the records came out shiny clean and looking new. Any trace of surface noise was completely and remains completely eradicated, even at 55% and 60% gain on a McIntosh MA 5200 and Paradigm Studio Monitor towers! Some clicks & pops remain but, again, these records have been played a lot over the many years I’ve had them. I intend to continue my research and trials, possibly with other cleaning solutions, to see if it might be possible to get rid of more of those annoying clicks & pops. I also intend to try cleaning some records, maybe even some I’ve already cleaned with this machine, and not using the Last treatment to see if that produces better results with the clicks & pops. If you folks have any suggestions, I’m all ears! I also intend to buy some new vinyl because of the way the Mofi Ultradeck + M makes them sing!
In conclusion, this Cleaner Vinyl system is the best damn record cleaning system I’ve ever used. It beats cleaning or washing records by hand, by a long shot. Although I’ve never used a vacuum cleaning system, I see no sense in spending that kind of money on a system that cleans only 1 record at a time, one side at a time and without the advantage of cavitation. I’ve also never used or heard the results of using one of those 4 or 5 thousand dollar ultrasonic machines either. However, since the technology employed (i.e. ultrasonic cavitation) is the same and one can only clean 1 record at a time on those machines, why would you want to spend that kind of dough when you could invest your money in a Cleaner Vinyl system at a fraction of the cost? You could use your extra cash to buy more vinyl! Also, the folks at Cleaner Vinyl (i.e. Rudy) could not possibly be more helpful, providing guidance, answering questions, etc. Visit their site (cleanervinyl.com) and see for yourself!
P.S. Prior to my purchase, I was a little apprehensive about the possibility of the record labels getting wet in the cleaning process and was prepared with a home-made version of label protectors, just in case. Rudy was right! As long as you use a modicum of care taking the records out of the bath after cleaning, this is not a problem at all.

In an effort to take my vinyl cleaning efforts to the most thorough and time-saving level currently possible, I recently upgraded my (6L, 45KHz) Crest Ultrasonics Powersonic P500H-45 cleaning unit to a (10L, 132KHz) Crest Ultrasonics Powersonic P1100D-132. This required the following CleanerVinyl (drop-in/perfect fit) component upgrades: RPM (speed control module), Max (base unit + loader), Dry-Max, Micron 10L + drain hose assembly, Inch spacers and Singles-Max spacers. Already an extremely satisfied CleanerVinyl Pro customer for almost a full year, I can honestly assert that the CleanerVinyl Max is an * EXPONENTIALLY * more useful tool for the vinyl aficionado in possession of a collection in excess of several thousand records. Obvious time savings aside (given the Max's 2x volumetric capacity increase over the Pro), the Max unit's solid build quality, rapid & easy loading/unloading and silent operation (ultrasonic cleaner vibration notwithstanding) make it THE WAR HORSE of the industry. Absolutely NOTHING else even comes close. Why spend ~$4K USD on a competitor's product to clean and dry ONE RECORD AT A TIME when it is possible to deep-clean and dry 24 RECORDS (from jacket-to-jacket) in LESS THAN 1 HOUR?! Im addition, I have found my 132KHz ultrasonic cleaner unit to be discernibly more efficient (than my 45KHz version) for thorough cleaning: Specifically, I re-cleaned 7 "problematic" (older, dirtier) LPs @ 132KHz (after previously cleaning them @ 45KHz but still encountering undesirable surface noise) and... WOW !!! 4 of the 7 noisy records were returned to LIKE NEW condition (YMMV, of course)! Rudy Schlaf is not only an innovator and a demonstrably skilled engineer (degree-holding scientist, actually) but also an extremely personable and responsive businessman who legitimately cares about his customers' complete satisfaction with all of his products. Custom orders (colors) are absolutely no problem to accommodate and thorough end-user documentation is included - both in hardcopy and online. CleanerVinyl has outdone itself with the Max offering and I cannot recommend it highly enough to prospective customers who need to clean A LOT of vinyl as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Happy cleaning to all!

It's Wednesday today, I received my CleanerVinyl Pro on Monday. First three batches of clean records down, many to go. This cleaning method is incredible. Before, I've been using wet type of cleaning. It's good but with all respect it's only a surface cleaning. Cavitation cleaning is a new ball game. I never thought that records might sound so good, as if the resolution has increased 2 fold. My jaw dropped when I listened to Jeff Beck Group "Going Down". It sounded so full of energy, so natural, so immediate. Even fairly new records sound better after cleaning and it takes about 25 min to clean 12 LPs. Everybody who is concerned about quality of analog playback should get one, no matter how large or small collection of records is. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended. Thank you CleanerVinyl.

Thousands of Dollars of Cleaning for a Fraction: I had a Spin Clean for a while, and it did a great job, BUT only to a point. I have a large vinyl collection, and needed something that gave me a deeper clean, but I am on a budget. I did my research, and found the CleanerVinyl One. I was able to get an ultrasonic cleaner for less than $150 and pair it with the CleanerVinyl, and the difference has been astounding. I am getting a cleaning that costs thousands, for less than $300. If you are truly invested in your records, but have a budget, this is easily one of the first things you should purchase.

Very happily surprised at this unit. It is very heavy duty and I have run it all night to make sure it was going to work.
Also I was surprised how quick I got it, shipping was very fast within just a few days. Wow I'm very impressed at how well this cleans records. It is super easy to use, easy to set up just like the video. So glad I didn't try to make my
own like so many other people have, this was well worth the money. Exceptional quality, Heavy duty, and awesome to use. I bought the adjustable power switch so that I could adjust Revolutions 2 exactly what I needed and it works great.
Got the extra spacers and everything works great and very easy on this excellent quality device. Way better than
trying to make one on your own. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone that wants to get great record cleaning
and get it done with little trouble and effort to do so.

Using my Wife's account to leave a comment. Just purchased and received the CleanerVinyl Max. Order was easy, shipping was prompt, trackable and on-time. Ordered the ultrasonic cleaner with heater on Amazon. Instructions for the Max was easy to understand and straight forward. 1st test was on 12 old records not in bad shape or very dirty from the 50s and 60s. I recently bought about 400 records at an estate sale. The 1st batch came out very clean, visually they looked brand new, not finger prints or visible marks. Out of the 12 records cleaned 2 had some pops clicks, but feel that a 2nd cleaning may help or they could be poor pressings. 10 out of 12 sounded amazing, which I'll take any day, considering these cost me about a $1.00 each and were brought back to life like the day they were pressed. I have a Okki Nokii RCM machine that I was previously using that would take me about 10-15 min per record to clean really well. With this machine, the ability to clean up to 24 records in about 30 min is amazing. With older dirtier records, I recommend cleaning less records with additional spacing. I also recommend using the isopropanol plus a surfactant for those dirtier records. For drying, I simply used my RCM machine, which if you don't have you could purchase the Max dryer. Great overall system, and excited to clean my recent large estate purchase of records. Unfortunately, I just found an easy way to hunt more large estate sale collections and can now clean bulk record collections efficiently. Thanks, Scott R

Great way to clean records! This is the perfect way to really clean your records way past what a brush or a cloth will do. When I first saw this, I was very skeptical, but after watching a few videos on you tube I decided to give it a try. I got the pro version with the drying fan. I started with a few records, either ones I didn't really care about or duplicates, the worst of the collection. I followed the instructions exactly and was pleasantly surprised at just how well it cleaned the records. I played one that was unplayable before and was blown away by how good it sounded. I played another and the same results. I am now cleaning all my records and have stopped because I had to get more inner sleeves to put the newly cleaned records in. This is the best purchase I have made in a long time and totally worth it. If you play records, you need this!

They sound fantastic now! As a longtime record collector, I've experimented with sundry methods for getting my vinyl clean and crispy sounding. Nothing cleans records better than ultrasonic. An issue with ultrasonic record cleaning machines is that they super are expensive and fairly slow. Vacuum cleaning machines are less effective and also many thousands of dollars. Cleanervinyl has found a perfect solution. The device they designed and manufactured sits on top of any rectangular, generic ultrasonic cleaning machine. The vinyl loads onto a spindle powered by a motor that rotates the records through the heated bath. I can clean 12 records in 15 minutes. This is one of the best record related purchases I've made in recent memory. Buy it. Many records especially the quieter ones sit on my shelves because they are too noisy to play, even though I had cleaned them many many many times but to no avail. With this technology, records I had assumed would never get any better sound fantastic now.

Just wanted to post this feedback on my new Micron filter which I recently purchased for my CleanerVinyl Pro system. I have been enjoying my CleanerVinyl Pro for almost a year and have cleaned close to 1000 LP's already! The system works incredibly well and does a far superior job to my VPI 16.5 which I have since sold. The one challenge I encountered was in swapping out the cleaning fluid every few batches cleaned. It sounds lazy of course, but I did want to get the best cleaning possible and made many trips to the grocery store to purchase additional distilled water. Now that challenge has been removed by the addition of the Micron filter. Not only do I not need to replace the water, but I believe the cleaner water (which is filtered 4 time a cleaning cycle) is producing a superior cleaning for my records. They just sound so quiet and so good. Thank you Rudy for your ingenuity and for my Micron filter system! Keep up the good work.

Greetings, vinyl aficionados! I am a new CleanerVinyl customer who wishes to share his experience with others. Several weeks ago, I purchased a CleanerVinyl Pro, Micron Filter, Drying Fan, Drain Accessory, RPM Control Module and LP Spacers kit. I had to wait approximately 1 week longer than usual because I requested a custom color scheme (all black) and my parts had to be 3D printed in a separate run. I must say that it was well worth the wait! Years of garage sale recon and Discogs (and eBay) spending sprees have resulted in a rather substantial vinyl collection - a two digit percentage of which admittedly falls into the "could use some TLC" category. Having run the gamut of stereotypical "snake oil" cleaners (enzymatic, et cetera) through my VPI HW-17 for 10+ years, I finally conceded that nothing on the market was what it claimed. Significant elbow grease and a lighter wallet still yielded records with snap-crackle-pop/KFC (extra) crispiness. Of late, my interest was piqued by an initial ultrasonic cleaner based option; however, I was floored by its egregious price-tag (and left curled on the floor in the fetal position). Almost ready to relegate my fate, recently, I stumbled across a link to the CleanerVinyl solution - using off-the-shelf ultrasonic cleaner units at the core. After researching the matter ad nauseam, I decided to take the plunge (pun intended). For almost a third the price of its "designer alternative," the CleanerVinyl products I purchased have proven to be a lifelong, high quality investment. Upon receipt of my kit of parts, I assembled everything (per the above, well-produced video) and ran a batch of 12 of my dullest, dustiest, oldest, moldiest and most time-encrusted 12" LPs @ the slowest RPM setting (which I calculated to be roughly 0.5 RPM) for 45 minutes. I was astounded when I removed the loaded spindle from the cleaning bath: were these the same records? After drying the lot, I marveled at how clean, shiny, detritus-free and serviceable all the LPs appeared. The final test was to play them... and the results were incredible! With the exception of one record which unfortunately had a small scratch (NO cleaner can repair physical damage to vinyl), my play tests were delightful! Both monaural and stereo recordings (w/ separate turntables and cartridges) were palatable and delightful! Surface noise was drastically reduced (and in some cases, virtually eliminated). My VPI HW-17 had never even come close to producing such noticeable results. My homemade cleaning solution consisted only of distilled water with 2 drops of Tergitol (wetting agent) per gallon. As an added measure of protection, I plan to treat all my ultrasonically cleaned records with LAST Conditioner. I look forward to many sessions of deep-cleaning ~12 records per hour with my CleanerVinyl gear for many years to come. I highly recommend CleanerVinyl products (please note: I harbor zero professional, personal or financial association with said company other than my being a thoroughly satisfied customer). Happy listening!

I have to admit that I was quite skeptical about this system, mainly because of cost. After all, how could this system be that good in comparison to systems costing as much as $4,200. In other words. How can they do it for under a grand? Well. There is no question in my mind that ClearVinyl will measure up to those machines and more. Having Rudy in your corner is icing on the cake. Customer service is superb. So, my other record cleaning machine is a Clear Audio Matrix which is a $3,000 machine and now I prefer the ClearVinyl system. What a world?
Posted by Dave B on audioasylum.com (3/23/18):
I purchased the Cleaner Vinyl One & Two + Dryer, along with the separately purchased but strongly suggested specific 6 liter ultrasonic tank. Total invested initially was about $550.00.
Previously, I had been using a VPI 16.5 with cleaning fluids, to clean my records. It did ok but I was often disappointed in the lack of results.
I set up the tank near a sink and used the suggested recipe/process but I separately bought the $20.00-ish bottle of Tergikleen as the surfactant. This is a blend of 2 Tergitols and use 2 drops of it, in 6 liters of distilled water. Experimented with the process and settled on 35*C for the 15 min ultrasonics in the distilled water/Tergikleen bath. Drain and change to a 5% Isopropanol mix in distilled water (I used 91% Isopropyl Alcohol in Quart bottles) for the rinse. 5 - 10 mins of rotating through it and I dry the records with a really clean, absorbent microfiber towel and air dry using the fan attachment.
(Note: I'm still using the same batches of cleaner and rinse fluids. I've not noticed any reason yet, to change them out.)
I don't have hard data on the noise/click/pop reduction but it is really significant, if your records are loaded with 40 - 50 yrs of dirt, like some of mine were. And keep in mind, these LP's were already cleaned multiple times in the VPI. I did my worst records first, some I've had since the late 60's. These were the most dramatic.
The vinyl comes out from the drying cycle looking pristine again. Of course, it goes without saying that this process will not repair damaged records, that would be silly. So, it is not capable of eliminating all noise... but, it took unlistenable records I had and made them enjoyable again! If you do have embedded dirt down in the grooves, it will come out. I did a few records twice, just to see if there was any further improvement possible and I'm happy to report that at least in one case, there was. Not as dramatic as the 1st pass but still noticeable.
I was so impressed with these results, I additionally purchased the Pro version from Cleaner Vinyl, for an additional $300.00 and some, which allows up to 12 LP's to be simultaneously cleaned... much more efficient when doing batch cleaning. The One & Two version are still useful for when only 1 or 2 records need cleaning.
I've experienced no negative effects on my records from using this process and I've now cleaned about 50 records.
Just wanted to pass this along, in case any of you were curious about this and thinking about switching over to ultrasonic cleaning.
I have no affiliation with Cleaner Vinyl and purchased everything I mentioned above with my own funds.
Very impressed! I did a search and it looks like at least one other inmate posted last year, is using this system. Let's hear about your experiences!

Sunday afternoon job. A bit of US cleaning and then a bit of rinsing on the HW-19. I'm finding that 2 drops of Tergikleen in my 6L tank is all I need. Any more and it takes quite a few rinses to get it all off on the HW-17. The cleanervinyl.com site also only recommends 2 drops per gallon:cleanervinyl.weebly.com/support.html.
I tend to do 3-4 rinses on the HW-19. First rinse is with distilled water + a little IPA. I measure 100ml of distilled water and add about 5ml of IPA. I then use a 5ml syringe to apply this first rinse mixture on the vinyl on the HW-17. Then I do 2-3 rinses with just distilled water on the HW-17 using the standard way to apply water with the HW-17.

I just purchased a radiogram and had over 800 vinyl records i'd kept in storage from over 40 years ago. They had been stored well but had finger marks and were a little dusty. I knew this was going to take me forever to clean so I decided to research on google the best way to clean records. After reading quiet a lot on forums and watching youtube videos, I personally felt the best way to clean a vinyl becord was y a cleaning machine. It gets into the grooves where manual cleaning can't seem to reach. I then decided to look into purchasing a vinyl record machine and to my surprise I was shocked at the price for them. I then came across Cleaner Vinyl which was very reasonably priced and I ended up purchasing the max with the max dryer. It cleans up to 24 records at a time which is a blessing for me having 800 records to clean. From what I can see is the only machine that cleans this many at a time. I manually clean the records first and then I put them through the machine. They look and sound fabulous. I'm a happy customer and highly recommended.

Thumbs up for ultrasonic record cleaning!
My CleanerVinyl ultrasonic record cleaner arrived today and it’s impressive.
Everything I’d read indicated that ultrasonic was the way to go, and now I count myself among the believers. Everything is better - records are quieter, less ticks and pops, more detail etc.
All my records had been previously cleaned with a vacuum record cleaner and were well cared for. Nonetheless, the difference is obvious and overwhelmingly positive.

I bought the Cleaner Vinyl Pro from cleanervinyl.com and wanted to share my results. I have tried many cleaning systems over the years, but none of them have worked as well as this system! I have cleaned about 40 records(that had been previously cleaned) and was amazed at how dirty the solution was after cleaning! I use tergitol and isopropyl alcohol along with distilled water and I have been very impressed with the results. My records are both quieter and have greater dynamic range than before cleaning. Highly recommended!

I purchased a Cleanervinyl Pro recently and am very impressed with it! I have used vacuum style cleaners for many years. Last year I purchased a $3000.00 vacuum style record cleaner and thought that was about as good as I was going to get for cleaning records, but I was wrong. The CleanerVinyl Pro system cost me around $600.00, it is far superior to vacuum style cleaners. I took some lp’s that I couldn’t get fully clean with my Vacuum record cleaner and was able to get them clean with the CleanerVinyl system. You can see the crud that collects in the bottom of the machine, and these were already cleaned with a vacuum record cleaner.

I bought my CleanerVinyl Pro from cleanervinyl.com, but I just had to come here to leave a review. I bought a VG record recently, and I tried to play it having cleaned it with some homemade solution and a microfiber cloth. There was a nice warm, pleasant crackle throughout, but after cleaning it with my CleanerVinyl Pro, and then drying it with the recommended dryer attachment, a significant amount of the noise was gone, and I even heard some of the highest and lowest notes that I couldn't hear before. This is well worth the money, consider it an investment, and you'll be able to take chances on cheaply-priced records at record shops, farmer's markets, garage sales, etc., that you might otherwise have passed up.

Pro recommended. Like the dryer as well. Much more time effective to wash multiple records so pro preferred over One. Liked to put 2 dividers in between each record so I washed 6 at a time (vs 12 just in case they are slightly warped). Have to buy a 6.5L ultrasonic cleaner separately. CleanerVinyl reps (especially Rudy) are so helpful and responsive to help you with purchasing appropriate ultrasonic, as well as assist with questions you may have. Lots of sediment found on bottom of cleaner as well as lots of dirt and dust loosened on record. Great product.
By Ken Wyatt on November 11, 2017 on our YouTube video about the Pro:
"I've had the CleanerVinyl Pro for 6 months now, and have cleaned well in excess of 500 records. Prior to this, I've used a VPI 16.5 vacuum cleaner for my 6,000 LP collection. While it took a while to find the best operating procedure and proper plastic jugs for the cleaning and rinsing solutions, I now have it down to a science. I would say more than half the records I've cleaned with the Ultrasonic cleaner have been new re-issues on audiophile, heavy vinyl, but a fair number have been used records in various states of dirtiness. The difference in playback quality is not subtle, but in your face (ears?), making the labor well worth the effort. Of course, the first thing you notice is a significant reduction or elimination of surface noise, but a close second is the greater depth you hear into the music---better bass, richer tonality, a bit more space around the instruments. Anyone with a decent size collection should absolutely give this a try! "

I have added ultrasonic cleaning to my album cleaning regiment and it has made a clearly noticeable difference. First album I put on the background was much blacker with surface noise drastically reduced on all albums so far. A tremendous improvement for a small price (in the audiophile universe) I did add the TWO attachment so I can clean two albums at once. I clean for 15 min in the ultrasonic bath then use my VPI 16.5 for 2 rinses with RO water, vacuum dry and set in a dish rack for final dry. The CleanerVinyl One fits the recommended tank well, is nicely built and is doing the job so I can scrub less and get a better result!

The CleanerVinyl One is used along with an ultrasonic cleaning tank which you can buy separately from Amazon. This product is well built and works just as advertised. A small USB adapter and cable are included which connects the unit to a standard electrical outlet. You attach a standard vinyl record to the housing using the screw on clap and place the record in the cleaning tank for about 10 to 12 minutes. LPs come out squeaky clean. CleanerVinyl is must have for those looking to keep their records in top shape.
5.0 out of 5 stars: I wasn't ready to invest in one of the $3500 machines and figured that this would be a great way to see if ultrasonic cleaning is the revelation ...
By Amazon Customer on November 6, 2017 on Amazon
I have been interested in trying this method for some time. I wasn't ready to invest in one of the $3500 machines and figured that this would be a great way to see if ultrasonic cleaning is the revelation that the audio reviews claim it to be. I have 3-4 thousand LP's and use a VPI 16.5 and multiple cleaning fluids (original Tourumat, Mobile Fidelity enzyme, RRL).
The good news: ultrasonic is the real deal! Surface noise is often reduced, but the main effect is to make every record sound better. Instrument separation is improved dramatically and imaging borders on the psychedelic (YMMV; I have MBL speakers).
The bad news: now I feel compelled to clean my whole collection.
The CleanerVinyl One in conjunction with the recommended ultrasonic tank is easy to use. Construction quality on the CleanerVinyl is excellent (it is solid, not flimsy at all). I purchased the CleanerVinyl Two from the company website which allows one to clean two Lp's simultaneously; this is a no-brainer in terms of efficiency. I wish there was an upgrade trade in program for people to move up to the Pro or Max; being able to clean 12 or 24 Lp's at a time now makes sense. I use the VPI to vacuum up the residual fluid so I did not need the dryer.
In case anyone is out there wondering if this thing works, I can tell you that the dang thing works BRILLIANTLY! I’ve just run another batch of my beat-up albums from the sixties through this, and they came out sparkling clean and silent. If you love old vinyl like I do, this system is an absolute must-have.
Note: I have no affiliation whatsoever with the manufacturer.
Note #2: the labels stay bone-dry throughout the process.

This was about $375, for the sonicator, record holder, and the surfactant. I got this all running, and cleaned about 150 records over a few nights time, 2-3 hrs per night. Nothing to it. Just works amazingly well. This record holder never slowed down, never got hot, or anything. It’s a great design, with limited potential breakage it appears (limited moving parts.) My discs have never been cleaner. They sound amazing!!

There has been only a little mention of the CleanerVinyl rig, so I thought I would share my experiences.
I have one of the commonly found six liter ultrasonic tanks. I think mine is a Vevor, but if not, it works just as well and is identical if only for lack of labeling. I wanted a device that would allow me to mount up to six LPs at a time and would also prove simple enough to mount and unmount vinyl.
This is the CleanerVinyl Pro setup that I have...read more and check out Danomar's great pictures about his process.

Hey, I would like to share my experiences with the CleanerVinyl Easy3 Expert Kit.

Posted by Jeffrey Srnec to our YouTube video about the CleanerVinyl Lift-Pro Accessory on 3/22/19:

Thank you!

If you are a serious vinyl collector and/or you want to get the most out of your expensive sound equipment, keeping your records clean with a professional record cleaner is not negotiable. Luckily I stumbled upon CleanerVinyl's ultrasonic system. It saves you money because it is a fraction of the price of typical ultrasonic record cleaner. It saves you time because you can clean 12 at a time! Very simple to use. Fun to do while spending a night listening to tunes and taking care of your collection. I highly recommend.

Posted by Majed Fawaz on 1/4/2019 to our YouTube video about the Max:

Posted by Huitzilin Tlaxcalli on our YouTube video about the Pro on 7/3/2018:

I too use The Cleaner Vinyl product. I have the Pro version. As you can see in the picture I clean 3 records at a time. I also use a filter system to clean the water after each 12 minute cycle.
I too follow Rushton Paul’s formula for the tank solution followed by a double rinse and vacuum with my VPI 16.5.
I am extremely happy with the CleanerVinyl products and my records have never sounded better.
5.0 out of 5 stars: A necessary upgrade for any vinyl enthusiast
By Minnesota Mike on January 5, 2017 on Amazon

I have purchase the Pro Version, allowing 12 records to be cleaned. The results are amazing and it save a lot of time. The optional fan is a must. That way you can dry all 12 of them after you are done.
5.0 out of 5 stars: Well Built Product - Clean Records
By Ridge Runner on January 9, 2017 on Amazon
