Multi-Frequency Cleaners

Multi-frequency ultrasonic cleaners clean at 40, 80 and 120 kHz. Automatically cycle through the three frequencies for superior results. 1 year warranty.
The UC-3360 multi-frequency ultrasonic cleaner covers the entire range of frequencies. It can be operated at 40, 80 and 120 kHz. The three frequencies can be auto-cycled at pre-programmable run times. Remove large dirt particles efficiently at 40 kHz, mold and other bio-contaminants at 80 kHz and chemical contamination like pressing release agents at 120 kHz. 120 kHz is also perfect for 'refreshing' records in good overall condition before play.
Please, note that the UC-3360 is only compatible with CleanerVinyl ProXL.

Each ultrasonic frequency range has advantages when it comes to cleaning vinyl records.
The size of the cavitation bubbles depends on the cleaner frequency. Low frequencies produce larger bubbles, while higher frequencies generate smaller bubbles. Larger bubbles contain more energy but cannot penetrate small features.
This makes low frequencies ideal for doing the 'heavy lifting', i.e. removal of large dirt and dust particles. Medium frequencies on the other hand are ideal for the removal of bio-contaminate like mold and other bio-films. High frequencies finally are best for the removal of chemical films like pressing agents or oils etc...they are also best for penetrating the smallest features in the grooves of a record.
